George Bush has now declared open war upon the American people by demanding that congress pass the Military Commissions Act of 2006.(HR 6166)
Do you favor (1) allowing the President to define torture, (2) strip the court of judicial review via habeas corpus (even though the constitution does not allow you too except in cases of invasion or rebellion), (3) allowing the President to jail American citizens arbitrarily and without court review by labeling them a "terrorist" (such as an evangelical Christian)?
The only appropriate response---- vote out any incumbent in the next election.
Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you. For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men. Friends our time is short. Our rights and freedoms are being systematically stripped from this nation by an elite hell-bent on the destruction of America.
Will you take a stand against this evil while there is still time?
