KOALA BEARS AND KANGAROOS
It's off to Sydney that I go when my thoughts run to and fro. To see it's famous harbour bridge,
opera house, and red tile roofs; golden quays, Woolloomooloo bay and skyscrapers too.
And what of Sydney shall I think, Darling Harbour, the view to drink.
Sydney tower, oh what height, it's golden globe shines so bright, will I not climb it, due to fright? But alas! an elevator bids me well, to the top I will go. Farewell.
For oft, when on my couch I lie, it's Bondi Beach that catches my inner eye. Her golden sands in a never ending line, to the horizon stretch, to catch the setting sun's last shine.
Was I really there? Is this just a dream? It's hard to fathom but come with me. Enjoy the tale that I will tell. Feast your eyes and wish me well.
Koala bears and kangaroos, crocodiles and lizards too. Australia has it all for you.
Now it's off to Cairns I drift, where crocodiles, pelicans and cockatoos sit. Are you with me yet, want a lift?
Off to the Great Barrier Reef we go. The view; oh what beauty the eye to see, Dunk Island, and the deep blue sea. Beautiful isles sit here and there as we drift lazily onward to our lair. It's coral reef you see that beckons onward to you and me.
Brilliant colors catch my eye as coral reefs drift slowly by. Golden shapes of red, and yellow; ruby, sapphire, and turquoise too.
What is this I see? A shimmering swirl of color beckons me. Flashes of red, pink, blue, yellow, and emerald too. It must be the reef fish inviting me.
Will I follow or is this just a dream. Australia beckons me.
Epilogue
Just back from the "land down under" in case you wondered. Have a great day!
