WASHINGTON DC -- The long awaited US military attack on Iran is now on track for the first week of April, specifically for 4 AM on April 6, the Good Friday opening of Easter weekend, writes the well-known Russian journalist Andrei Uglanov in the Moscow weekly "Argumenty Nedeli." Uglanov cites Russian military experts close to the Russian General Staff for his account.
The attack is slated to last for twelve hours, according to Uglanov, lasting from 4 AM until 4 PM local time. Friday is a holiday in Iran. In the course of the attack, code named Operation Bite, about 20 targets are marked for bombing; the list includes uranium enrichment facilities, research centers, and laboratories.
The first reactor at the Bushehr nuclear plant, where Russian engineers are working, is supposed to be spared from destruction. The US attack plan reportedly calls for the Iranian air defense system to be degraded, for numerous Iranian warships to be sunk in the Persian Gulf, and the for the most important headquarters of the Iranian armed forces to be wiped out.
The attacks will be mounted from a number of bases, including the island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. Diego Garcia is currently home to B-52 bombers equipped with standoff missiles. Also participating in the air strikes will be US naval aviation from aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf, as well as from those of the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean. Additional cruise missiles will be fired from submarines in the Indian Ocean and off the coast of the Arabian peninsula. The goal is allegedly to set back Iran's nuclear program by several years, writes Uglanov, whose article was re-issued by RIA-Novosti in various languages, but apparently not English, several days ago. The story is the top item on numerous Italian and German blogs, but so far appears to have been ignored by US websites.
Observers comment that this dispatch represents a high-level orchestrated leak from the Kremlin, in effect a war warning, which draws on the formidable resources of the Russian intelligence services, and which deserves to be taken with the utmost seriousness by pro-peace forces around the world.
Per a well known geopolitical commentator on the Jeff Rense program (3-27-07) the Russians and Red Chinese are well aware of the neocon, Zionist plan for the conquest and reorganization of the entire Middle East. This involves dividing up present day, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Turkey, and Afghanistan. Saudi Arabia will be downsized. A new Kurdistan will be born formed out of part of present day Turkey, western Syria, and Iraq. Iraq will be divided into 3 new countries with Kurd, Sunni, and Shia populations.
Ultimately the group driving the neocon, Zionist movement are the Rothschild affiliated central banks and associated multinational corporations which provide funding for armaments etc, which seeks greater control of the worlds natural resources (oil, etc.) and whose end game is the creation of a world government whose international financial structure they wish to control.
According to this commentator the only way Russia or China could thwart this effort by the Rothschild international financial power structure would be to set off nuclear weapons (probably suitcase nukes vs ICBMs) in the European Union and/or the United States, the Rothschild homeland.
This is the only event which would give them pause in their centuries old plan for control of the world. Even this event should it happen would play right into their hands however. Limited nuclear destruction would provide the justification for turning over all nuclear weapons to a central world authority to prevent such destruction in the future. Russia and China would be very reluctant to do this for obvious reasons.
Therefore I do not see Russia or China actively opposing Bush militarily unless it directly involved detonation of weapons on their soil.

Former Vice President Al Gore took his Global Warming message to Congress, using words of such great hyperbole that only the undiscerning could ever be deceived. Unfortunately, those types of people seem to be in the majority right now, encouraged by the reporting of Mass Media.

"Gore drew overflow crowds as he testified before House and Senate panels about a "true planetary emergency" if Congress fails to act ... Gore insisted that the link is beyond dispute and is the source of broad agreement in the scientific community."
This statement is another bold lie. The only scientists who agree with the Global Warming advocates are those whose work is largely funded by Federal dollars!
" 'The planet has a fever', Gore said. 'If your baby has a fever, you go to the doctor. If the doctor says you need to intervene here, you don't say, 'Well, I read a science fiction novel that told me it's not a problem.' If the crib's on fire, you don't speculate that the baby is flame retardant. You take action'."
The very fact that such incendiary language could even be used by a noted speaker on Capitol Hill shows that this propaganda campaign is well underway and probably in its final stages. Some lawmakers were critical, but others warmly supportive.

Global warming is not due to man's excess production of carbon dioxide through the burning of fossil fuels but due to a decades long increase in solar activity according to Habibullo Abdusamatov, head of the space research laboratory at the St. Petersburg-based Pulkovo Observatory.
Dire predictions of seacoasts being inundated by dramatic rises in sea level due to melting polar ice caps caused by global warming are pure nonsense! According to a BBC channel 4 documentary the average temperature of the earth has actually risen only .5 degree celcius in the last 150 years.
Atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO2) levels are primarily determined by the temperature of the earth's oceans which determine the amount of CO2 released into the earth's atmosphere. CO2 levels produced by man are an insignificant source of CO2 production compared to CO2 produced by the earth's oceans, animal and plant activity, and decaying of natural vetatation. The temperature of the earth's oceans changes very slowly over many centuries.
Al Gore ( An Inconvienient Truth) has it all wrong. Increases in CO2 levels (CO2 only represents .054% of all atmospheric gases) are a result of increased temperatures (not the cause of it) which in turn are caused by increased sunspot activity and variables in the solar wind (cosmic radiation) hitting the earth's atmosphere. In fact, if one studies the correlation between CO2 levels and temperature over hundreds of years the CO2 level always follows the temperature pattern but lags behind it.
