There is a matrix. We are living in it. No, it is not the matrix where the world has been destroyed and run by machines as in the movie of the same name. But it exists in the "doublespeak" Orwell spoke of in the book "1984" which produces an illusion that is not real.
As an example the news media has been falling all over itself telling us that the recent Hercules AC-130 gunship and helicopter attacks in Somalia are targeting al-Qaeda terrorists. In fact on Tuesday, Jan.9th we were told that a leading al-Qaeda fugitive was killed. Of course this was an outright lie, a "ruse" if you will used to justify the use of U.S. military forces in Somalia to back the very warlords that shot down the Blackhawk helicopters in Mogadishu in 1994. Now that the public has gotten over the initial shock of Bush's military action in Somalia we learn that no leading al-Qaeda terrorists were killed.
On Thursday it was admitted that none of the three suspected al-Qaeda terrorists were killed but HUNDREDS of civilians were killed. Honestly, how can you target three individuals alone when you are spraying machine gun fire from a plane thousands of feet in the air without hitting every other living thing within hundreds of yards of your intended targets? Targeting three individuals this way shows total disregard for collateral loss of human life(innocent civilians).

President George W. Bush is poised to stake every US resource to hand on a no-holds-barred military operation..... The USS John C. Stennis strike group is heading for the Persian Gulf with a mighty air arm of 9-10 fighter-bomber squadrons. Saturday, some sources reported that another task force, the USS Ronald Reagan Strike Group, had been ordered out of Sand Diego on Jan. 4 and was heading in the same direction.
Adm. William J. Fallon, 62, hitherto supreme commander in the Pacific theater, takes over from Gen. John Abizaid as commander of the US central command which is in charge of the US fronts in Iraq, Afghanistan and against global terrorism. The admiral specializes in deploying large-scale navy, air and Marines forces simultaneously in different arenas.
Lt. Gen. David Petraeus will succeed Gen. George Casey in command of American forces in Iraq. Petraeus commanded the 101st Airborne, the Screaming Eagles, in the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Its motto, Rendezvous with Destiny, fits the US president’s present frame of mind.
The appointment of Ryan Crocker to replace Zamay Khalilzad as US ambassador to Baghdad further supplements the all-or-nothing scenario. Crocker led the US campaign in the Indian subcontinent against al Qaeda and Taliban. Khalilzad moves over to head the US mission at the United Nations.
The president is now "putting all his ducks in a row" as he places the military and his cabinet on a war-footing preparing for a much wider conflict in the Middle East. Witness the recent move of John Negroponte from National Intelligence Director to deputy Secretary of State right behind Condoleezza Rice.
Now add to this Pat Robertson's prediction of a massive terrorist attack in the United States in the fall of 2007 and you can see what the neo-conspirators are planning. Let us not forget that Mr. Robertson is "well connected" being a high level Freemason who once ran for President of the United States.
Late breaking news: Israel plans to bomb Iran with mini-nukes if the U.S. does not "take out" their nuclear enrichment facilities first.
In fact:
Two Israeli air force squadrons are training to blow up an Iranian facility using low-yield nuclear “bunker-busters”, according to several Israeli military sources. The Israeli weapons would each have a force equivalent to one-fifteenth of the Hiroshima bomb.
Israeli pilots have flown to Gibraltar in recent weeks to train for the 2,000-mile round trip to the Iranian targets. Three possible routes have been mapped out, including one over Turkey.
Air force squadrons based at Hatzerim in the Negev desert and Tel Nof, south of Tel Aviv, have trained to use Israel’s tactical nuclear weapons on the mission. The preparations have been overseen by Major General Eliezer Shkedi, commander of the Israeli air force.
Under the plans, conventional laser-guided bombs would open "tunnels" into the targets. "Mini-nukes" would then immediately be fired into a plant at Natanz, exploding deep underground to reduce the risk of radioactive fallout.
The attack would be the first with nuclear weapons since 1945, when the United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
"As soon as the green light is given, it will be one mission, one strike and the Iranian nuclear project will be demolished," said one of the sources.
By the time this conflict is over a new Middle East will emerge.
