The world cries out for a savior. Will it be man or God?

Today, Easter Sunday our earthly king has risen. His name is Jesus. He has given his life that you may live with him eternally where human suffering and pain are no more. He was the innocent lamb led to the slaughter; but he overcame death on a wooden cross to conquer Satan's grip on mankind. Oh death where is thy sting?

He holds the keys to eternal life for those who put their faith and trust in Him. Today He reigns in majesty as our heavenly king. "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True."(1) "And on his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."(2)

He will sustain you in your time of trouble. He will guide you when there is no light. He will lift you when your burden is too heavy. He will help you when you need to stand upright. He will love you when you are hurting. He will hold you when you despair. He will protect you in time of danger. He still loves you even when you don't care. He will help you sing a new song. He will give you that peace that passes all understanding. Put your faith and trust in Him.

"I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears."(3) He may be found in the following passages of scripture. Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8, Romans 10: 8-10, and verse 13, Romans 12: 1-2. Do you have a personal relationship with the KING?

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."(4)

He is available anytime, anywhere you want to meet Him. He knows every detail about you for he created you. There is nothing he cannot do if it is His will.

May our King of Kings and Lord of Lords guide you and protect you this Easter.

Hey Dad! Do me a favor and label this "The Marine"; and send it to everybody on your email list. Even leave this letter in it. I want this rolling all over the U.S.A

I want every home reading it. Every eye seeing it. And every heart to feel it! So can you please send this for me? I would, but my email time isn't that long and I don't have much time anyway.

You know what Dad? I wondered what it would be like to truly understand what Bush said in his inaugural speech. "When the time comes to lay down my life for my country, I do not cower from this responsibility. I welcome it"

Well, now I know. And I do. Dad, I welcome the opportunity to do what I do.

Even though I have left behind a beautiful wife, and I will miss the birth of our first born child, I would do it 70 times over to fight for the place that God has made for my home. I love you all and I miss you very much. I wish I could be there when Sandi has our baby, but tell her that I love her, and Lord willing, I will be coming home soon. Give Mom a great big hug from me and give one to yourself too. love you Aaron.

WHAT DOES MERLIN SAY?

I culled this article from Jeff Well's website rigorousintuition.blogspot.com. I don't know if he is "New Age" in orientation, (I suspect he is and you know where that leads) but I found the article to be very interesting.

"Things to Come: the 'Merlin Project'
Who is behind - or perhaps, in front of - the Merlin Project: a 'high-tech crystal ball' which boasts of a 'track record of timely and accurate predictions?' The two names linked to Merlin are 'futurist' Paul Guercio and 'SDI physicist' Dr. George Hart. According to the Merlin website, this is how it began:"

'Physicist, Dr. George Hart first hears Futurist, Paul Guercio with Dr. David Brudnoy on WBZ Radio in Boston in October 1988 and is intrigued with Paul's theory of 'Time-Patterns' since it parallels his own extensive research as a highly respected theoretical physicist and inventor of the excimer laser.'

'In January 1989 Dr. Hart comes to Paul's office for a professional consultation. The consultation never took place and instead, the two researchers spent six hours comparing notes on time-related anomalies. The MERLIN Project evolved from a series of five meetings over the subsequent six months.'

'The MERLIN Project is officially born on July 4, 1989 after Dr. George Hart offers to design software built around Paul Guercio's Theory of Time. A team of SDI (Star Wars) physicists is recruited to design the MERLIN Project software, which becomes known as TimeTrak.'

'First working copy of the MERLIN software (October 5, 1989) forecasts the imminent demise of the Soviet Union or alternately, World War III. Both Paul and Dr. Hart consider either scenario unlikely at best. Soviet Union collapses as the Berlin Wall comes down (November 5, 1989) and Eastern European Communism quickly disintegrates. The newly designed MERLIN software has proven to be a stunning success.
Merlin also reaches into the Pentagon:'

"In 1995, the MERLIN creators were approached by a Strategic Planning Office of the Pentagon's Joint Chiefs of Staff and asked to provide a long-range forecast and timetable for potential incidents of domestic terrorism over the following seven years. This 'white paper' which was submitted in July 1995, included indications of a significant threat culminating in the Fall of 2001, which we now know to be the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center and The Pentagon."

"Guercio and Hart visited 'longtime client and friend' Alan Colmes" (of Hannity and Colmes, Fox News) "on New Year's Eve. Here is a report from NewsHounds of some of what they claim is in store for us:"

'Osama bin Laden will be "in strength" in 2005 and 2006.'

'Something out of the ordinary starts in the next year or two and culminates at the end of the decade. At the end of 2005, something profound will happen. They're not sure what, exactly, it may be but it could be an asteroid strike or a massive UFO invasion.' "(Comment: I swear to you, these guys sounded scientific, not flaky.)"

'In 2008-2009, something even more profoundly changing will happen that will affect about 4 out of 6 people. Something like a pandemic.'

"I'm not convinced of the prophetic prowess of the 'Merlin Project,' but I do think it prudent, given the times, to pay attention to the work of a pair of right wing futurists who have been retained by the Pentagon and Perle, one of whom is an SDI researcher, and who are frequently awarded public forums on conservative corporate media. Rather than gleaning prophecy, it may help us to know what they are preparing for us." (Emphasis mine).

"One at a time:"

'Osama bin Laden will be "in strength" in 2005 and 2006.'

"We don't need no Merlin to tell us that. There's not much to add, except to say the ghost of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi will be jealous."

'At the end of 2005, something profound will happen...asteroid strike or massive UFO invasion.'

"This reminds me of the December 2000 , testimony of Dr Carol Rosin, a corporate manager of Fairchild Industries and founder of the Institute for Security and Cooperation in Outer Space, who was the spokesperson for Wehrner Von Braun in the last years of his life." (Wehrner von Braun was a German born scientist who moved to Huntsville, Alabama in the 1950's and pioneered the space program for the U.S., Steve.)

'What was most interesting to me was a repetitive sentence that he said to me over and over again during the approximately four years that I had the opportunity to work with him. He said the strategy that was being used to educate the public and decision makers was to use scare tactics. That was how we identify an enemy. The strategy that Wehrner Von Braun taught me was that first the Russians are going to be considered to be the enemy. In fact, in 1974, they were the enemy, the identified enemy. We were told that they had "killer satellites". We were told that they were coming to get us and control us-that they were "Commies."'(Emphasis mine).

'Then terrorists would be identified, and that was soon to follow. We heard a lot about terrorism. Then we were going to identify third-world country "crazies." We now call them Nations of Concern. But he said that would be the third enemy against whom we would build space-based weapons. The next enemy was asteroids. Now, at this point he kind of chuckled the first time he said it. Asteroids - against asteroids we are going to build space-based weapons.'

'And the funniest one of all was what he called aliens, extraterrestrials. That would be the final scare. And over and over and over during the four years that I knew him and was giving speeches for him, he would bring up that last card. "And remember Carol, the last card is the alien card. We are going to have to build space-based weapons against aliens and all of it is a lie."' (Emphasis mine).

"In 2008-2009, something even more profoundly changing will happen that will affect about 4 out of 6 people. Something like a pandemic."

"Culling the population by about two-thirds is what many expect to come of our world's convergence of crises. Two billion or so of us is a potentially sustainable number, living at reduced means under a technocratic feudalism. A great die-off seems all but inevitable. How we get there is the question for the High Globalists. Leave it to chance, or anticipate the curve? Bioterror? Eco-terror? Climate change? Nuclear exchange? Have they already answered? And what will be our response?" (Emphasis mine).

"So many choices, and so little - seriously - time."

Conclusion

In a presentation to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Futures Branch, Joint War Fighting Center, Fort Monroe, Virginia on July 18, 1995 Hart and Guercio made the following statement. "Merlin is a computer-based forecasting technology that combines equations derived from planetary time cycles" (astrology) "with past historical data and blends that information into a chronograph(r) or Timetrak(r) that plots the chronology of future events."

They also make this statement in an article titled The Art of Anticipation: Merlin "relates celestial movements to human events" and "MERLIN will also present a clear conceptual framework which for the first time will provide a firm foundation for "legitimizing" traditional predictive systems like astrology."

There you have it. The underlying basis for producing the Timetraks is astrology and the purpose is to legitimize it.

What I find particularly disturbing is the fact that the Pentagon has "bought into" this use of astrology because it has been cloaked in a scientific "package" i.e. complex computer program which seems to predict the future.

What we must discern from this article is not what will happen in the future because we know the God's word has the final say in that, but who and which groups are causing these events to occur- build up of Russia as an enemy, terrorism, identifying and labeling Nations of Concern i.e. the present "axis of evil", the coming fear over an asteroid hit, and finally the landing of extraterrestrials.

Realize that the reason that some of these events will occur as Merlin seems to predict is because the modern adepts, (occultists) in high political, corporate and military positions will cause them to occur through the use of modern technology, demonology and not by planetary cycles; such as pandemics through viral recombinant DNA splicing, terrorism through CIA intrigue with foreign governments and occult organizations, asteroid hit through manipulation of natural phenomena to produce certain physical manifestations in the heavens and on earth, landing of extraterrestrials through production of anti-gravity propulsion military hardware and mind control (MKULTRA) of individuals.

To summarize: production of these effects to instill fear and therefore obedience to their agenda as Wehrner Von Braun indicated years ago with the purpose of manipulating the population into serving a global occult world government eventually to be lead by the Antichrist.

These groups are "New Age" (modern occult religion wrapped in "Eastern Mysticism") and are the same groups pushing world regionalization and assimilation. (This link is the second article down on the web page.)

God's word does indeed predict that certain events will occur in our future. We don't need MERLIN and occult "adepts" to tell us that.

"and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places" Matthew 24:7b KJV.

"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." Matthew 24:24 KJV.

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken" Matthew 24:29 KJV.

What does God's word say about astrology?

"And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars- all the heavenly array- do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the Lord your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven." Deuteronomy 4:19 KJV.

Our Lord, Jesus Christ treats this subject very seriously. "If a man or a woman living among you in one of the towns the Lord gives you is found doing evil in the eyes of the Lord your God in violation of his covenant, and contrary to my command has worshiped other gods, bowing down to them or to the sun or the moon or the stars of the sky, and this bas been brought to your attention, then you must investigate it thoroughly. If it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, take the man or woman who has done this evil deed to your city gate and stone that person to death." Deuteronomy 17:7 NIV.

"He sacrificed his own son in the fire, practiced sorcery and divination, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the Lord, provoking him to anger." 2 Kings 21:6 NIV(King Manasseh of Judah).

"I will cut off from this place every remnant of Baal, the names of the pagan and the idolatrous priests-
those who bow down on the roofs to worship the starry host, those who bow down and swear by Molech, those who turn back from following the Lord and neither seek the Lord nor inquire of him." Zephaniah 1:4b-6 NIV.

Our Lord views worshiping the heavens as an unfaithful act. "if I" (Job) "have regarded the sun in it's radiance or the moon moving in splendor, so that my heart was secretly enticed and my hand offered them a kiss of homage, then these also would be sins to be judged, for I would have been unfaithful to God on high." Job 31:26-28 NIV.

And finally friends:
"See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ." Colossians 2:8 NIV.

"If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, "Let us follow other gods" (gods you have not known) "and let us worship them," you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul." Deuteronomy 13:1-3 NIV
